Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy explains how billing, cancellation, and refunds work for Trade Journal Desk's paid subscription.

1. Free Trial

Every new account can log up to 10 trades completely free, with no payment method required. You'll always know exactly where you stand — your remaining free trades are shown in the app at all times.

2. Subscription Billing

Once your free trades are used, continuing to log new trades requires a paid subscription. We offer three billing options — Monthly (₹49, billed every 30 days), 6-Month (₹249, billed every 180 days), and Yearly (₹449, billed every 365 days) — charged automatically to the payment method you provide via Razorpay. All plans unlock identical features; only price and billing period differ. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel.

3. Cancelling Your Subscription

You can cancel anytime from the Billing page in your account. There's no cancellation fee and no minimum commitment. When you cancel:

4. Refunds

Subscription payments are generally non-refundable, including for the unused portion of a billing period after cancellation — you're paying for access during that period (30, 180, or 365 days depending on your plan), whether or not you use the Service every day within it.

That said, we'll issue a refund if:

5. How to Request a Refund or Report a Billing Issue

Contact us via our Contact page with your account email and a description of the issue. We aim to respond within 3–5 business days. Approved refunds are processed back to your original payment method via Razorpay and may take 5–7 business days to reflect, depending on your bank.

6. Failed Payments

If a renewal payment fails (for example, an expired card), we'll attempt to notify you and give you a short grace period to update your payment details before access is paused. Your data isn't deleted during this grace period.

7. Changes to Pricing

If we change subscription pricing in the future, we'll notify existing subscribers in advance — any price change will apply from your next billing cycle, not retroactively.
